Ostrava Open: Krejcikova advances to quarter-finals after Bencic withdrawal
Barbora Krejcikova benefited from the forfeit of Belinda Bencic on Thursday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between American qualifier Alycia Parks and Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 4 seed, in the next round

Czech Barbora Krejcikova advanced to the quarter-finals of the Ostrava Open after Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 6 seed, withdrew before the match at the Ostravar Aréna on Thursday afternoon.
Krejcikova, ranked No 23, will play the winner of the match between American qualifier Alycia Parks and Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 4 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Czech beat American Shelby Rogers (6-2, 6-2).
Bencic, ranked No 14, edged out Canadian qualifier Eugenie Bouchard (6-7 (7), 6-1, 6-4) in the previous round of the Ostrava.
