Prague Open: Frech advances to semi-finals

Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 6 seed, won against Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the No 3 seed, 2-6, 6-0, 6-1 to advance to the last 4 of the Prague Open at the Sparta Prague Tennis Club on Wednesday night.
Frech, ranked No 57, will play the winner of the match between Russian qualifier Oksana Selekhmeteva and wildcard Laura Samson next.
The Pole defeated Australian Astra Sharma (6-4, 2-6, 6-2) and Dominika Salkova (6-4, 6-7 (4), 2-2 ret.) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Prague tournament, Kalinina, ranked No 47, won against Sara Bejlek (7-5, 6-7 (7), 6-2) and Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot (7-5, 3-6, 6-2).
