Prague Open: Hibino reaches quarter-finals

Japanese lucky loser Nao Hibino advanced to the last eight of the Prague Open by winning against Slovak qualifier Viktoria Hruncakova 6-1, 7-5 at TK Sparta Praha on Thursday.
Hibino, ranked No 136, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Yue Yuan and wildcard Tereza Martincova next.
The Japanese edged out Italian Sara Errani (7-5, 3-6, 6-4) in the previous round of the Prague tournament.
In the 32 of the Prague tournament, Hruncakova, ranked No 117, edged out Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 7 seed (3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5)).
