Katie Boulter advanced to the second round of the Queen’s by edging out Australian qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic 7-6 (4), 1-6, 6-4 at Queen’s Club in London on Tuesday.
Boulter, ranked No 34, will play the winner of the match between Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 5 seed, and Pole Magdalena Frech next.
