Rabat Open: Stearns books spot in final
The American will play the winner of the match between Russian Kamilla Rakhimova and Egyptian Mayar Sherif in the final.

American Peyton Stearns edged out Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-7 (6), 7-5, 7-6 (4) to reach the final of the Rabat Open at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc on Friday.
Stearns, ranked No 81, will face the winner of the match between Russian Kamilla Rakhimova and Egyptian Mayar Sherif next.
The 22-year-old American beat Serb qualifier Aleksandra Krunic (5-7, 6-2, 6-1), Chinese Xiyu Wang, the No 6 seed (6-3, 6-1) and Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 4 seed (6-4, 4-6, 7-5) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds, Tomova, ranked No 84, won against qualifier Berfu Cengiz (6-2, 6-1), Chinese Yafan Wang (7-6 (4), 6-0) and German Laura Siegemund (6-4, 6-3).
