Rouen Open: Danilovic makes last four

Serb Olga Danilovic, the No 3 seed, defeated Japanese Moyuka Uchijima, the No 5 seed, 7-6 (9), 4-6, 6-1 to reach the semi-finals of the Rouen Open at the Kindarena on Friday afternoon.
Danilovic, ranked No 39, will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Tiantsoa Rakotomanga Rajaonah and Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens next.
The Serb won against qualifier Aleksandra Krunic (5-7, 6-0, 6-3) and edged out lucky loser Linda Fruhvirtova (6-2, 3-6, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Rouen tournament, Uchijima, ranked No 60, beat Italian lucky loser Nuria Brancaccio (3-6, 6-2, 6-1) and edged out French wildcard Lois Boisson (1-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4).
