Hungarian Dalma Galfi advanced to the second round of the Rouen Open by edging out Estonian Kaia Kanepi 6-7 (7), 6-1, 6-4 at Palais des sports de Rouen on Tuesday.
Galfi, ranked No 149, will play the winner of the match between No 5 seed Alize Cornet and Jessika Ponchet next.
