Qualifier Tiphanie Lemaitre reached the second round of the Rouen Open by edging out qualifier Margaux Rouvroy 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 at Palais des sports de Rouen on Tuesday.

Tiphanie Lemaitre will face the winner of the match between Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the No 9 seed, and French wildcard Elsa Jacquemot next.
