‘s-Hertogenbosch Open: First final since 2022 for Andreescu

Canadian wildcard Bianca Andreescu moved into the final of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open by defeating Hungarian qualifier Dalma Galfi 6-4, 6-2 at Autotron Rosmalen on Saturday afternoon.
Andreescu, ranked No 228, will face the winner of the match between No 3 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova and second seed Liudmila Samsonova next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Canadian won against Dutch qualifier Eva Vedder (4-6, 6-3, 6-2), Chinese Yue Yuan, the No 6 seed (6-4, 6-4) and Japanese wildcard Naomi Osaka (6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (3)).
Galfi, ranked No 138, beat Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus (6-0, 6-3), Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 5 seed (6-3, 3-6, 7-5) and Serb Aleksandra Krunic (7-5, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Rosmalen tournament.
