San Luis Potosi Open: Briton Jones moves into second round

Briton Francesca Jones won against Ukrainian Yulia Starodubtseva 7-5, 6-4 to move into the second round of the San Luis Potosi Open at the Club Deportivo Potosino on Tuesday.

Jones, ranked No 270, will face the winner of the match between German Tatjana Maria, the top seed, and Hungarian Anna Bondar next.
