Saville upsets Kostyuk in Mérida Open first round
Daria Saville pulled off a straight-set surprise against Marta Kostyuk on Tuesday in Merida. Savile will face Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina in the next round.

Australian qualifier Daria Saville advanced to the last 16 of the Mérida Open Akron by defeating Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 6 seed, 6-4, 7-6 (6) on Tuesday evening.
Saville, ranked No 121, will next face Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina.
