Sramkova sinks Sun to reach Mérida Open last 16
Rebecca Sramkova was too hot for Lulu Sun in a straight-set beatdown on Tuesday in Merida. Beatriz Haddad Maia is next up for Sramkova.

Slovak Rebecca Sramkova eased past New Zealander Lulu Sun 6-3, 6-1 in round one of the Mérida Open Akron on Tuesday evening.
Sramkova, ranked No 40, will next face No 3 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia.
