Keys makes quick work of Samsonova in Strasbourg semi-finals
Madison Keys took care of Liudmila Samsonova in straight sets on Friday in Strasbourg. Keys will face either Danielle Collins or Anhelina Kalinina in the title match.

Madison Keys, the No 4 seed, defeated Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 5 seed, 6-1, 6-3 to move into the final of the Strasbourg Open at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Friday afternoon.
Keys, ranked No 16, will face the winner of the second semi-final between Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina and American Danielle Collins, the No 3 seed.
In the previous rounds of the Strasbourg tournament, the American ousted China’s Xinyu Wang (7-5, 6-0) and Poland’s Magda Linette (6-1, 6-3).
It was still a good week for Samsonova, ranked No 19, as she beat Barbora Krejcikova (6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-4), Canadian Leylah Fernandez (4-6, 6-4, 6-2) and Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the second seed (6-3, 6-0) earlier in the event.
