Belarusian qualifier Aliaksandra Sasnovich edged out American Emma Navarro 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the last 16 of Tennis in the Land at Cleveland’s iconic Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Flats West Bank on Monday evening.
Sasnovich, ranked No 68, will face Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 4 seed, next.
