Thailand Open: Wang beats Hibino to book spot in quarter-finals
Xinyu Wang beat Nao Hibino 7-5, 6-4 and will face the winner of the match between Viktorija Golubic and Yulia Putintseva, the No 7 seed, in the next round

Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 3 seed, moved into the last eight of the Thailand Open by beating Japanese Nao Hibino 7-5, 6-4 at the True Arena Hua Hin.
Wang, ranked No 40, will play the winner of the match between Swiss Viktorija Golubic and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Hua Hin tournament, the 22-year-old Chinese benefited from the abandonment of American Emina Bektas (5-2).
Hibino, ranked No 94, beat Russian Kamilla Rakhimova (7-6 (4), 6-0) in the first round of the Hua Hin tournament.
