Spain’s Nuria Parrizas Diaz defeated Romanian wild card Irina Bara 6-1, 7-5 to reach the last 16 of the Transylvania Open by Verdino in Cluj-Napoca on Tuesday.
Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 75, will play the winner of the match between Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 9 seed, and Hungarian Dalma Galfi next.
