German Tamara Korpatsch won against Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Transylvania Open at the BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on Tuesday afternoon.
Korpatsch, ranked No 105, will face No 8 seed Jodie Burrage next.
