No 9 seed Kamilla Rakhimova won against wildcard Mirra Andreeva 6-2, 6-4 to reach the quarter-finals of the Trophée Clarins at the Lagardère Paris Racing on Wednesday afternoon.
Rakhimova, ranked No 90, will play second seed Varvara Gracheva next.
Kamilla Rakhimova defeated Polina Kudermetova (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Andreeva, ranked No 146, won against American qualifier Elizabeth Mandlik (7-5, 6-2).
