Veneto Open: Brancaccio advances to last 16

Italian Nuria Brancaccio moved into the last 16 of the Veneto Open by winning against Romanian Irina Bara 6-4, 6-1 at the Tennis Club Gaiba on Tuesday afternoon.

Brancaccio, ranked No 184, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Marina Bassols Ribera and Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure, the No 3 seed, next.
