Romanian Anca Todoni moved into the last 16 of the Veneto Open promoted by Regione del Veneto by beating Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, the No 3 seed, 6-2, 6-4 on Tuesday.
Todoni, ranked No 137, will face the winner of the match between qualifier Elvina Kalieva and qualifier Alycia Parks next.
