WTA Brisbane: 19-year-old Noskova through to last eight
The 19-year-old will meet Australian wildcard Arina Rodionova or Russian Mirra Andreeva in the next round

Czech teen Linda Noskova defeated Argentinian qualifier Julia Riera 6-1, 6-7 (4), 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals of the WTA Brisbane International on Thursday.
Noskova, aged 19 and ranked No 40 in the world, scored her third three-set win in a row this week and will play the winner of the match between Australian wildcard Arina Rodionova and Russian Mirra Andreeva next.
Ahead of her win today, Noskova edged out Hungarian qualifier Timea Babos (5-7, 7-6 (8), 7-6 (2)) and Romanian Sorana Cirstea, the No 10 seed (6-4, 4-6, 6-4).
Riera, ranked No 137 and coming through the qualifying event, defeated Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova (6-2, 6-4) and Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 7 seed (6-3, 6-4) in the earlier rounds.
