WTA Indian Wells: Andreeva beats Tauson again to extend win streak to eight
The ninth-seeded Russian will play Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 7 seed, in the next round

Russian Mirra Andreeva, the No 9 seed, scored a win over Denmark’s Clara Tauson, the No 22 seed, in a repeat of their Dubai Open final to advance to the last 16 of the BNP Paribas Open on Sunday,
Andreeva defeated Tauson 6-3, 6-0 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden to extend her winning streak to eight matches. The Russian had also beaten Tauson in Dubai 7-6, 6-1 to win the biggest title of her young career yet.
Andreeva, now ranked No 11, will play Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the tournament, the 17-year-old Russian defeated Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva (7-5, 6-4).
Tauson, ranked No 21, won against Colombian Camila Osorio (7-6 (3), 7-5) earlier in the week.
