Zhengzhou Open: Vekic moves into second round

Croat Donna Vekic advanced to the second round of the Zhengzhou Open by defeating Japanese Nao Hibino 6-4, 6-2 at Zhongyuan Tennis Training Base Management Center on Monday.

Vekic, ranked No 21, will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian qualifier Lesia Tsurenko and Russian Diana Shnaider next.
