Halle: Rune goes down to Carreno Busta in grass court debut

Danish teen Holger Rune did not have a successful grass court debut on the ATP Tour at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion in Halle on Monday as the 19-year-old was defeated by Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta in straight sets.
The sixth seeded Spaniard defeated Roland-Garros quarter-finalist Holger Rune 6-3, 7-6 [5] in one hour and 47 minutes.
Carreno Busta, ranked No 19 in the world, will face the winner of the match between American Sebastian Korda and Chile’s Cristian Garin next.
