Tiafoe sets quarter-final clash with Nakashima at Atlanta

American Frances Tiafoe, the No 4 seed, reached the last eight of the Atlanta Open by winning against Japanese qualifier Taro Daniel 7-5, 6-4 at the Atlantic Stadion on Wednesday evening.
Tiafoe, ranked No 29, will face American Brandon Nakashima, the No 8 seed, next.
Tiafoe is into his first quarter-final at Atlanta – the world No 29 improves to 16-14 on the season.
Daniel, ranked No 101, defeated American Sebastian Korda (1-6, 6-1, 6-3) in the previous round.
