De Minaur leads Australia team for Davis Cup quarter-final; Injured Kyrgios absent
With no Nick Kyrgios, the Aussies will look to De Minaur for inspiration when they take on the Netherlands on Tuesday

Alex de Minaur will lead Australia’s hopes when they play the Netherlands in the quarter-finals of the Davis Cup in Malaga on Tuesday.
With world No 22 and Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios absent through injury, the world No 24 joins Thanasi Kokkinakis, ranked 95, for the singles.
Wimbledon doubles champions Max Purcell and Matt Ebden complete Lleyton Hewitt’s team.
Australia have won the Davis Cup 28 times, having dominated the competition in the 1960s and 1970s. They last won the Davis Cup in 2003.
