Dubai Duty Free Championships: Pegula makes semi-finals after Muchova pulls out
The American will meet Czech Barbora Krejcikova for a place in the final

American Jessica Pegula, the No 3 seed, advanced to the last four of the Dubai Duty Free Championships after Czech Karolina Muchova withdrew before the match at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Thursday.
Pegula, ranked No 3, will play Czech Barbora Krejcikova next.
Ahead of her victory, the American defeated Bulgarian qualifier Viktoriya Tomova (6-2, 5-7, 6-1) and Romanian qualifier Ana Bogdan (6-4, 6-3).
Muchova, ranked No 112, won against American Bernarda Pera (6-1, 6-4), Romanian Sorana Cirstea (6-4, 7-6 (4)) and Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 8 seed (6-1, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Dubai Open.
