Miami Masters: Struff battles past Fognini, to meet Dimitrov in second round
The German edged out Italian Fabio Fognini 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 on Wednesday at the Miami Open

German qualifier Jan-Lennard Struff edged out Italian Fabio Fognini 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Miami Masters at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Struff, a former top 30 player now ranked No 103 in the world, will play No 21 seed Grigor Dimitrov in the second round.
