Banja Luka Open: Molcan books spot into the semi-finals
Alex Molcan edged out Laslo Djere 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 on Friday. He’ll play the winner of the match between Bosnian wildcard Damir Dzumhur and Russian Andrey Rublev, the second seed, in the next round

Slovak Alex Molcan edged out Serb Laslo Djere (6-2, 4-6, 7-5) to reach the last 4 of the Banja Luka Open at the Tennis Klub Mladost on Friday.
Molcan, ranked No 73, will play the winner of the match between Bosnian wildcard Damir Dzumhur and Russian Andrey Rublev, the second seed, next.
In the previous rounds of the Banja Luka tournament, the Slovak defeated Japanese Taro Daniel (3-6, 7-5, 6-1) and edged out Australian Alexei Popyrin (7-6 (4), 4-6, 7-5).
Djere, ranked No 78, won against Roman Safiullin (6-4, 6-2) and edged out Croat Borna Coric, the No 3 seed (6-4, 6-7 (1), 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
