Sofia Open: Struff battles into semi-finals

German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 3 seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Sofia Open by edging out Hungarian Fabian Marozsan 7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-4 on Thursday afternoon.
Struff, ranked No 28, will play the winner of the match between Jack Draper and wildcard Cem Ilkel next.
The 33-year-old German won against qualifier Billy Harris (7-6 (5), 6-4) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Marozsan, ranked No 62, defeated Zsombor Piros (6-3, 6-1) and edged out Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut (6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (4)).
