ATP Next Gen gets a revamp; to feature only players 20 and under

The ATP Next Gen Finals will get a revamp in 2024 with several changes planned – the most prominent of them being that it will feature only players aged 20-and-under, not 21-and-under as the norm has been over the past few years.

Some of the other changes include Next Gen players receiving up to eight ATP Challenger Tour 100 and 125 opportunities.

Also, players aged 20-and-under ranked in the Top 250 will enjoy added benefits, such as one main draw and two qualifying opportunities at the ATP 250 level, in addition to their Challenger opportunities.

Serbia’s Hamad Medjedovic won the 2023 ATP Next Gen Finals in Jeddah last month, beating Frenchman Arthur Fils in the final.
