Auckland Open: Borges beats qualifier Michelsen to move into second round
Borges will face the winner of the match between No 6 seed Arthur Fils and wildcard Richard Gasquet in the next round

Portugal’s Nuno Borges won against American qualifier Alex Michelsen 0-6, 7-6 (6), 6-3 to reach the second round of the Auckland Open at the ASB Tennis Arena on Monday.
Borges, ranked No 66, will face the winner of the all-French match between No 6 seed Arthur Fils and wildcard Richard Gasquet next.
