Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet beat Swiss Celine Naef 6-3, 6-4 to move into the final of the L’Open 35 de Saint Malo.
Paquet, ranked No 149, will play the winner of the match between wildcard Lois Boisson and No 8 seed Alize Cornet next.
Ahead of her victory, the Frenchwoman won against Mexican Renata Zarazua, the No 6 seed (3-6, 6-0, 6-4), Belarusian qualifier Iryna Shymanovich (6-4, 6-3) and American Peyton Stearns, the No 3 seed (7-5, 2-6, 6-0).
Naef, ranked No 167, defeated Russian Anastasia Zakharova (6-2, 6-1), Australian Daria Saville, the No 5 seed (6-2, 6-2) and Frenchwoman Clara Burel, the top seed (6-3, 6-3) in the previous rounds.
