German Laura Siegemund moved into the last 16 of the Rabat Open by winning against Russian Anna Blinkova, the second seed, 6-1, 7-6 (4) at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc on Monday evening.
Siegemund, ranked No 78, will play Colombian Camila Osorio next.
