American Tommy Paul, the No 5 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the cinch Championships by beating Chilean Alejandro Tabilo 6-3, 6-4 at Queen’s Club in London on Thursday.
Paul, ranked No 13, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, and Jack Draper next.
The American won against Argentinian Sebastian Baez (6-4, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Queen’s tournament, Tabilo, ranked No 24, won against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (7-6 (6), 3-6, 6-1).
