Atlanta Open: Shang upsets top seed Shelton to reach quarters
The Chinese qualifier will face Australian Max Purcell, the No 8 seed, in the next round

Chinese qualifier Juncheng Shang moved into the last eight of the Atlanta Open by beating American Ben Shelton, the top seed, 7-6 (6), 6-4 at the Atlanta Athletic Club on Friday.
Shang, ranked No 89, will play Australian Max Purcell, the No 8 seed, next.
Ahead of his win today, the 19-year-old from China won against American wildcard Andres Martin (6-1, 6-1).
