Hangzhou Open: Wildcard Bu reaches first ATP Tour semi-final
Yunchaokete Bu won against Mikhail Kukushkin 6-4, 6-2 on Sunday and will face the winner of the match between Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, the No 6 seed, and Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena in the next round

Chinese wildcard Bu Yunchaokete defeated Kazakh Mikhail Kukushkin 6-4, 6-2 to move into the semi-finals of the Hangzhou Open at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center on Sunday.
Bu, ranked No 124, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, the No 6 seed, and Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena next.
In the previous rounds of the Hangzhou tournament, the 22-year-old Chinese won against Frenchman Hugo Gaston (7-5, 6-3) and Russian Karen Khachanov, the second seed (7-6 (7), 4-6, 6-3).
Kukushkin, ranked No 112, won against Italian Luciano Darderi, the No 5 seed (6-3, 6-4) and Alexander Shevchenko (6-4, 7-6 (3)) earlier in the tournament.
