Megasaray Hotels Open 2: Jimenez Kasintseva ousts No 2 Bouzas Maneiro to reach semis

Andorran Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva reached the last four of the Megasaray Hotels Open 2 by defeating Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, the second seed, 6-4, 7-5 on Friday.
Jimenez Kasintseva, ranked No 151, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle, the No 5 seed, and Slovak Veronika Erjavec next.
The 19-year-old Andorran won against wildcard Cagla Buyukakcay (6-3, 6-3) and edged out Austrian qualifier Sinja Kraus (6-0, 0-6, 7-6 (4)) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 58, edged out Hungarian Panna Udvardy (6-3, 3-6, 6-4) and won against Russian qualifier Elena Pridankina (2-6, 6-4, 6-3).
