Monte-Carlo Masters: Popyrin takes out Humbert in round one

Australian Alexei Popyrin edged out Frenchman Ugo Humbert 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4 to move into the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters at the Monte-Carlo Country Club on Tuesday.

Popyrin, ranked No 27, will face the winner of the match between American Frances Tiafoe, the No 14 seed, and Serb Miomir Kecmanovic next.
