Hungarian Dalma Galfi moved into the final of the Oeiras Ladies Open by beating American Varvara Lepchenko 6-4, 6-3 on Saturday.
Galfi, ranked No 149, will face American Katie Volynets, the second seed, next.
The Hungarian won against Pole Maja Chwalinska, the No 8 seed (6-4, 7-5), Japanese Sara Saito (6-1, 6-2) and Panna Udvardy (7-6 (8), 6-1) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Lepchenko, ranked No 120, won against Russian qualifier Alevtina Ibragimova (7-5, 6-3), Austrian Sinja Kraus (7-5, 6-2) and Russian Elena Pridankina (6-3, 4-6, 6-2).
