Wimbledon: Noskova books spot in third round

No 30 seed Linda Noskova won against German Eva Lys 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 to advance to the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday evening.
Noskova, ranked No 27, will face the winner of the match between Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 4 seed, and Russian Kamilla Rakhimova next.
Ahead of her victory, Linda Noskova defeated American Bernarda Pera (6-2, 6-4).
Lys, ranked No 61, won against Chinese Yue Yuan (6-4, 5-7, 6-2) in the previous round of The Championships.
