Wimbledon: De Minaur sets up Djokovic clash with comprehensive victory over Holmgren

Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 11 seed, advanced to the last 16 of Wimbledon by defeating Dane qualifier August Holmgren 6-4, 7-6 (5), 6-3 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Saturday afternoon.

De Minaur, ranked No 11, will play the winner of the match between Miomir Kecmanovic and No 6 seed Novak Djokovic next.

Ahead of his victory, the Australian won against French qualifier Arthur Cazaux (4-6, 6-2, 6-4, 6-0) and Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena (6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (2)).

Holmgren, ranked No 192, won against No 21 seed Tomas Machac (7-6 (5), 6-7 (8), 6-7 (5), 7-5, 7-6 (5)) and Frenchman Quentin Halys (7-6 (4), 6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds of The Championships.
