Hamburg Open: Yastremska advances to the semi-finals

Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the second seed, advanced to the semi-finals of the Hamburg Open by winning against Hungarian Dalma Galfi 7-6 (1), 3-6, 6-2 at Am Rothenbaum on Friday afternoon.
Yastremska, ranked No 39, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Lois Boisson, the No 5 seed, and Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova next.
The Ukrainian beat Frenchwoman Diane Parry (6-1, 6-4) and German Jule Niemeier (6-4, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Hamburg tournament, Galfi, ranked No 111, won against German wildcard Nastasja Schunk (1-6, 6-3, 6-2) and Serb qualifier Aleksandra Krunic (6-4, 6-1).
