US Open: Top seeds Draper/ Pegula to face Swiatek/ Ruud in mixed doubles semi-finals
The top seeds won both their matches on Tuesday in straight sets

Top seeds Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper are through to the US Open mixed doubles semi-finals after scoring back-to-back wins on Tuesday in New York. The duo will face third seeds Iga Swiatek/ Casper Ruud on Wednesday for a place in the final.
Pegula and Draper started off on Tuesday with a win over the exciting duo Carlos Alcaraz/ Emma Raducanu 4-2, 4-2 in the first round.
In the quarter-finals that followed shortly thereafter, the top seeds defeated the all-Russian duo of Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev 4-1, 4-1 to move into the last four. Andreeva and Medvedev had scored a win over 4-2, 5-3 over Olga Danilovic and Novak Djokovic.
In the other semi-final, defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori will take on the all-American duo of Danielle Collins/ Christian Harrison.
