Hong Kong Tennis Open: Bublik makes last four
Alexander Bublik defeated Juncheng Shang 6-1, 7-6 (2) on Friday and will face the winner of the match between Marcos Giron and qualifier Michael Mmoh in the next round

Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the second seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open by beating Chinese wildcard Juncheng Shang 6-1, 7-6 (2) on Friday.
Bublik, ranked No 11, will face the winner of the match between Marcos Giron and qualifier Michael Mmoh next.
The Kazakh won against Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp (6-3, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
In the previous rounds, Shang, now ranked No 406, won against Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 5 seed (6-3, 6-4) and Argentinian Francisco Comesana (6-4, 6-4).
