Bastide UTS Nîmes: Tsitsipas replaces injured Davidovich Fokina
The Greek star will face Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals.

A last-minute shake-up in Nîmes as the first leg of the 2026 UTS circuit kicks off in the Arènes de Nîmes this Friday. Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina has been forced to withdraw due to injury, suffering from an abdominal tear. “The Bull” is replaced by Stefanos Tsitsipas.
This is not the first time “El Greco” will grace the UTS courts. The Greek reached the semifinals of the New York edition in 2024 and the final of the very first UTS event back in 2020. He steps directly into the Spaniard’s slot in the quarterfinal draw to take on Andrey Rublev.
