Mexican Open: Zverev battles past Arnaldi to move into second round
Alexander Zverev edged out Matteo Arnaldi 6-7 (2), 6-3, 6-4 on Wednesday night and will face American qualifier Learner Tien in the next round

German Alexander Zverev, the top seed, reached the second round of the Mexican Open by edging out Italian Matteo Arnaldi 6-7 (2), 6-3, 6-4 at the Arena GNP Seguros in Acapulco.
Zverev, ranked No 2, will play American qualifier Learner Tien next.
