Alexander Bublik won his fourth career title, beating Borna Coric to lift the Montpellier Open trophy

Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the second seed, defeated Croat Borna Coric, the No 4 seed, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 to win the Montpellier Open tournament at the Sud de France Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Bublik, ranked No 27, beat Canadian Denis Shapovalov (1-6, 7-6 (12), 6-3), No 6 seed Alexander Shevchenko (4-6, 6-3, 6-4) and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 3 seed (4-6, 6-4, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Coric, ranked No 37, beat Spaniard Pedro Martinez (6-4, 6-0), Italian Flavio Cobolli (6-3, 6-4) and Dane Holger Rune, the top seed (6-3, 4-1 ret.).
