Argentinian qualifier Camilo Ugo Carabelli beat Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas 7-6 (5), 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Argentina Open at Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.
Ugo Carabelli, ranked No 134, will play top seed Carlos Alcaraz next.
