Chengdu Open: Musetti moves into semi-finals to face Kachmazov
The Italian defeated Adrian Mannarino 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 in the semi-finals on Sunday

Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the top seed, beat Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 5 seed, 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 to move into the semi-finals of the Chengdu Open at the Sichuan International Tennis Center on Sunday.
Musetti, ranked No 19, will play Russian qualifier Alibek Kachmazov next.
In the previous round of the Chengdu tournament, the 22-year-old Italian edged out Australian Christopher O’Connell (6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-6 (4)).
Mannarino, ranked No 46, won against qualifier Terence Atmane (6-7 (9), 6-1, 6-3) and edged out Chinese wildcard Yi Zhou (7-6 (3), 2-6, 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
